SOUL HEADPHONE COMMERCIAL, FEATURING USAIN BOLT

Blackburst Entertainment partnered with StudioFlux in Spring, 2013 to shoot a new commercial campaign for Soul Electronics.  Soul created new, top shelf, signature series headphones for super-star athlete and Soul brand ambassador, Usain Bolt.  The creative concept for the commercials required us to fly to Bolt’s home town in Kingston, Jamaica to capture him in action at The Jamaican National Stadium.  With 1 RED EPIC, 1 RED SCARLET and a Canon 5D mkii, our team had exactly 4 hours to capture everything we needed.  Despite an afternoon rain storm, we flew home the next day with everything we needed.

The spots aired on US National TV, and on Soul’s social media platforms. There were part of an ad campaign that also featured Tim Teabow.

Usain Bolt has won 12 gold metals and two silver metals since 2007.  He holds the record for the fastest 100m ever earning him the title “World’s Fastest Man”.  Soul Electronics sells high-end headphones and speakers and is known for utilizing high profile celebrities such as Bolt, Tim Tebow, Ludacris and PSY as brand ambassadors.
